evb•studio, located at 4343 Tennyson Ave, Denver CO 80212 plans on opening the doors mid-October, 2006.

What can you expect??

Classes in hand-bulding, focusing on sculptural works, narrative works, multiple element installation and so much more.
Also, post-fired finishes - my own work is completed using post-fired finishes: acrylic paints and washes, inks, color pencil, wax pigments, metallic surfacers and chemical patinas to name a few.

A community friendly studio, evb•studio will offer special drop in classes directed to specific themes, needs and otherwise fun stuff!

If you have any specific needs or wishes please feel free to post them on this blog... I must tell you my intention for my studio is to be true to what I do. I do not want to attempt to be everything to everyone, but be strong in what I offer through workshops because they are from my strengths. Because of this philosophy you will not see wheels in my studio, I can't throw to save my life, so I certainly don't want to attempt to teach anyone something I can't do. You also won't see typical glaze application done in my studio. 99% of my own work is done with post-fired finishes... I have been working this way for over 10 years now, and feel it is more than just a way to finish sculptural clay, for particular work it is THE way to finish!

Stop by First Friday - October 6, 2006 between 6 - 10PM to see a diamond in the rough! Information on classes will be available, as well as registrations being taken.
